15 things to do this Autumn

Autumn is well and truly upon us and I couldn't be happier about it. Windier, rainier days are starting and the evenings are feeling ever darker and cosier. The tree outside my window is speckled with amber leaves. The resident fox seems to blend in with the foliage. Squirrels scurry away the left over nuts. Robins chirp a little louder.                                                                                                                                                                                 I really want to make the most of the se...

Exploring Kew Gardens

My fiance and I took a trip to Kew gardens during the February half term and I thought I would share my love of photographing plants with a bit of an overview of Kew as a day out. I studied Ecology at university and therefore really do love a good bit of plant action. I was in my element walking around the Two large Victorian greenhouses and I know how lame that sounds. I enjoyed taking pictures of leaf patterns, textures and the variety of colours. I felt that I could block out all my internal chatter and just focus on something creative which I hadn't done in a long while. I especially enjoyed the palm house as I love tropical plants best as well as having a bit of warmth during a very chilly day out! My partner really enjoyed walking through the grounds as he loves more natural woodland settings. The daffodils were starting to pop out too! We booked tickets to go to the orchid festival and it was amazing seei...

Autumn at the Arboretum

Hey all, I went to Westonbirt arboretum  again this year and loved it just as much as the first time. The crunching of the leaves, the sun through the blazing leaves and a bitter breeze on my face. It was lovely to have a day away from everything. We got wrapped up in our woollies and braved the cold day and really was not disappointing with the array of colours. A time to really relax and just be in the moment. How hippy-fied of me… We spent the day looking at so many beautiful autumn colours, drinking hot chocolate and eating doughnuts! My boyfriend ( dark_matter97 ) and I took lots of pictures while I was there and thought I would share a few;   Happy Halloween and I hope you all have had a great autumn thus far, Id love to see any autumn pictures you have taken this year! Love, Lozzy
